At MMC we are committed to participating in achieving a sustainable future. We aim to make a positive difference by supporting the growth and development of our people and communities. We are also committed to minimising the impact of our business activities on the environment and we work with our clients to provide the best environmental solutions.
OUR STRATEGY
OPERATIONS
We are conscious of our impact on the environment and we are working to reduce unnecessary use of energy to minimize our carbon footprint. As part of our environmental initiatives we have installed energy efficient light bulbs and programmable thermostat to decrease our energy usage.
ENVIRONMENT
As a business we are dedicated to deliver positive environmental impact for our clients, suppliers, and communities by assessing supply chains, using sustainable materials, and providing advice on modern methods of construction. Our Managing Director Michael McCarthy is also a founder of The Offsite Group company that provides consultancy services for delivery of off-site solutions which we believe provides many environmental benefits.
At MMC company we promote sustainability and our employees are committed to Continuous Professional Development (CPD) in sustainable construction to provide solutions for our clients and suppliers on how to reduce the industry’s impact on the environment.
We also participate in Bike to Work scheme and encourage active transportation.
COMMUNITY
We are contributing donations to several charities that are committed to the process of building sustainable communities, which are:

Trócaire - addresses the multiple and often intersecting vulnerabilities that people face in the poorest and most marginalised communities. It supports communities to access, control and protect their local natural resources, in particular land and water.

Avaaz – it is an advocacy organisation defending democracy & human rights.

Oxfam – focuses on poverty, inequality, discrimination and help people to rebuild communities.

Simon Community – provides support and services to people and their families experiencing or at risk of homelessness in Ireland.
Our company also works in partnership with third level education college to provide support and train young adults who are in search for work experience in construction industry.
